John Ribner, Content Marketing Specialist
The content development team has grown at Phoenix Innovate! We are excited to welcome John Ribner as a member of our marketing department.
John has been working professionally as a writer since 1997. He started his career as a newspaper reporter. After three years in this field, he went on to acquire additional writing experience including human interest/features, business to business publications, trade association, SEO-driven digital, company blogging, video script creation and much more.
“A huge thanks to Mark and the team for giving me the opportunity to join Phoenix Innovate! I look forward to working with everyone and doing my part to contribute to the company’s success,” says John.
Our clients will enjoy working with John. He has a knack for taking complex subjects and presenting them in exciting ways. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Central Michigan University.
“Engaging audiences is all about making the right emotional connection and obviously content is key to accomplishing this. John’s abilities and experience are a wonderful addition to our growing team as we help our clients realize their brand vision through messaging,” says Mark Gaskill, Phoenix Innovate’s EVP of marketing and research.
“We are delighted to welcome John to the Phoenix team,” says Kirk Vercnocke, CEO of Phoenix Innovate. “The written word plays such an important role in emotionally connecting with our clients’ audiences. John’s success in capturing the hearts of readers and turning that emotion into action fits perfectly with our authentic marketing approach.”
John’s hobbies are the same as what he does here at Phoenix Innovate – he loves to write. When he’s off the clock, you’ll find him working on his novels, screenplays and songs with his band.
A native of Flint, Michigan, John is no stranger to gritty determination. Today, he lives a more comfortable life in Novi with his wife Rosemary and three children: Jacquelyne (24), Draco (17) and Johnny (13). The couple hopes to add a new member to the family: a Newfoundland… if they can find the room!
